Dear Miramonte Community,
I am thrilled to announce that Sharat Gadde and Danielle Warford have been recognized as finalists for the 2024-2025 AUHSD Educator of the Year and Employee of the Year awards!
Mr. Gadde, one of our exceptional science teachers, brings passion and dedication to his classroom every day. Known for his ability to engage students, foster curiosity, and create a welcoming learning environment, Mr. Gadde exemplifies what it means to be an outstanding educator. His commitment to student success and well-being is evident in everything he does, making a lasting impact on our school community. We are so proud to see his excellence recognized at the district level!
Equally deserving of recognition is Ms. Warford, our incredible Administrative Assistant to the Principal, whose hard work and dedication keep Miramonte running smoothly. She is the heart of our front office, ensuring that students, staff, and families receive the support they need with efficiency and kindness. Ms. Warford’s professionalism, warmth, and problem-solving skills make her an invaluable part of our school, and we are thrilled to see her honored as a finalist for this award!
We extend a huge congratulations to both Mr. Gadde and Ms. Warford, as well as to all of the finalists and winners across the district who contribute so much to our schools. If you’d like to send a message of congratulations or appreciation, please click here to view our staff directory.
Best of luck to our individual wrestlers and women's soccer team as they compete in NCS postseason play today and tomorrow! And, congratulations to our boys' soccer and girls' basketball teams for qualifying for NCS and battling hard in tough matchups this week.

ONE-Miramonte Fundraising
55%
To date only 55% of Miramonte families have made a gift of any size to ONE-Miramonte. We aim for 100% participation because every student benefits from the academic classes and programs the ONE-Miramonte budget helps to fund.
How does every student benefit from donations to ONE-Miramonte?
- Miramonte is able to offer a 7-period day by paying the district for an additional 19 class sections; many neighboring districts do not. Regardless of whether your student takes seven classes at Miramonte, they benefit from the increased course options and smaller class sizes these extra 19 sections allow.
- Every class, from AP Biology to Foods, receives supplemental funding from the ONE-Miramonte budget. Teachers use this money to purchase needed supplies and materials for their class.
- Our outstanding College & Career Center receives substantial support from our budget. This helps pay the salary of extra staff members in the CCC, who read essays, build college lists, and provide a 4-year plan to all students to prepare for life after Miramonte.
- Miramonte’s Wellness Center also receives supplemental funding through our budget. The Wellness Center provides not only crisis intervention for students who are struggling, but also a place for stressed out students to take a few moments to calm down before returning to class. The Wellness team also provides education for all students about stress management and healthy relationships.
-
Popular academic programs and clubs also receive supplement support from donations to ONE-Miramonte. Programs like Public Speaking, Latin Club, Model UN, the LINK Crew, The Mirador and Robotics, to name a few, all receive funds from the ONE-Miramonte budget.
If you’re wondering whether your student directly benefits from donations to ONE-Miramonte the answer is that they do! All donations are spent this year at Miramonte and fund the budget set by Principal Campopiano and approved by the Miramonte Parents’ Club. Donations of any size are appreciated and gratefully accepted.

Schedule Changes
The deadline to drop a class without it appearing on the transcript is March 14.
Students who wish to override their math recommendation for next year need to obtain the math override form from their current math teacher. Students have until February 28th to complete the form.
Students in Algebra 1 who wish to take Geometry for Original Credit through AUHSD’s summer program should obtain an application from their current math teacher, and return the signed form to their math teacher who will pass it along to their counselor.
Students who wish to take a math course outside of AUHSD over the summer should come speak with their counselor about next steps! Please come talk to us before spring break, or we might not be able to change your math class selection for next year.
