Attitude Is Everything

Starting the Week Off Right

April 10, 2023

Good Morning,

Yesterday, we celebrated Easter, a day when we, as Christians, celebrate the greatest miracle of all times, the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Christianity is based on this singular event. Throughout history, for over 2,000 years, it has been celebrated. Our country was founded on the Judeo Christian values of the Ten Commandments. Over the past nearly 250 years, they have served us well.

Today, unfortunately, it seems like we, as Americans, have played down this phenomenal event. We seem to have removed the spiritual aspects of this and other religious holidays, replacing them with the promotion of personal fun, enjoyment, traveling, and the spending of money to achieve them.

Individually, we can do little about what might be being promoted by our federal or state governments but, we can make sure we do not forget what Easter is all about. We can teach our children and grand children the values that we hold dear. We can share with our friends. We can take the time to slow down, just a little, and reflect on these values.

Let us celebrate our risen Lord and the significance of that mysterious event on our lives. HAPPY EASTER also known as Resurrection Day.
