Join First Tuesday SMTX for an inspiring evening on Tuesday, March 4, as we celebrate Women’s History Month with a special screening of the documentary HEALER, directed by Candace Bellamy. The film tells the remarkable story of Dr. Joycelyn Elders, the first African American Surgeon General of the United States, highlighting her journey from a sharecropper’s daughter to a groundbreaking leader in public health.
