NISE Conference

Teachers Kelli Holton and Melissa Carmona were recently selected and presented at the Northern Illinois Science Educators (NISE) Conference. Their presentation, “Differentiating Science: Tips for Scaffolding and Inclusion”, focused on equity in a science classroom, while challenging students on the same NGSS standards and objectives, and integrating supports and scaffolding that is necessary for their readiness level.

CAP Class College Research

Before Fall Break, College Admissions Prep students researched what type of colleges they're looking for based on size, cost, location, potential majors, admissions requirements, and more! This helps junior students have a better idea of what colleges are the best fit for them before it comes time to apply.
