Dear Superstition Mountain Owner,
We are reaching out to acknowledge the challenges with the wait times at the gate. We recognize the inconvenience this has caused and appreciate your patience as we work to streamline those times.
Please note that the recent delays are not related to our new gate staff but are primarily due to a few key factors, including higher occupancy, increased seasonal traffic, and vendors with expired passes from the prior month/ year.
Please review the below information and take the necessary steps to ensure your guests get into the community as quickly as possible.
- It is crucial that any and all individuals who are not property owners are added to your access lists. Delays often occur when a guest, vendor, or subcontractor is not listed, requiring a phone call to the property owner. If the gate staff cannot reach you, they will have to deny access.
- YOU MUST ADD EACH GUEST/ VENDOR TO YOUR GUEST LIST - EVEN IF YOUR VENDOR TELLS YOU THEY HAVE "PERMANENT", "YEARLY" OR OTHER PASS FOR ACCESS.
- Some vendors, contractors, etc., had yearly vendor passes that expired at the end of 2024.
In light of wait times at the gate, the SMOA is extending the use of legacy access methods or passes for vendors for at least the next four weeks. In addition, the HOA is working on an RFID Tag Policy for vendors, contractors, etc., to purchase a tag for ease of access into the community.
Stay tuned for communications regarding RFID Tags for vendors.
If you encounter any issues with the Gateaccess App, please don’t hesitate to contact our office for assistance.
Thank you for your cooperation as we work to enhance the efficiency of our gate access.
