Auditions for the Spring play are just around the corner! For those who donât know, Rockwellâs Spring play is a long-standing community tradition. Kids whoâve grown up in the Rockwell community know that students CANNOT WAIT until theyâre in 4th grade because it means theyâre finally old enough to participate in the spring play. This year weâve partnered with Youth Theater Northwest for an extra special production!
Please join us for a special parent information session on Wednesday, January 17 at 7:00pm inside the Rockwell gym. All your burning questions about commitment, timing, logistics, etc. will be answered then. Parents who join us for that meeting will receive a link for early registration to the play (meaning those kiddos are guaranteed a spot in the play). Early registration for the play will take place January 22-January 28. Open registration will run January 29-February 2. This yearâs registration fees are the same as last year: $215. Auditions are tentatively scheduled for February 7-8.
We are still looking for a few 4th grade parents willing to take on leadership roles with this yearâs production (if you join the leadership team, your child is guaranteed a spot in the play!)

As always, your PTA is committed to ensuring that ALL children are able to participate in PTA sponsored activities, regardless of any financial hardships your family might be experiencing. We have scholarships available to cover registration fees for families who cannot otherwise afford the $215 cost.
