Housing Report: Home Sales Take Significant Leap in November

Momentum is building in the real estate market as improving economic conditions encourage home buyers to make a move. Home sales posted a significant jump in November, marking the second consecutive month of increases following a nearly frozen market in the summer.

Existing-home sales, which account for completed transactions for single-family homes, townhomes, condos and co-ops, rose 4.8% month over month and 6.1% annually in November, according to the National Association of REALTORS® (NAR)

Scholarships Available, Help Someone You Know with Education Costs

The New Jersey REALTORS® Educational Foundation scholarship application is now open! Last year, the foundation awarded more than $60,700 to students to help meet the costs of higher education.

Students are eligible for the scholarship if they are high school seniors planning to attend an undergraduate program, currently enrolled in an undergraduate program, or attending a NJ community college.

Applicants must be a member, or a relative of a member of New Jersey REALTORS® who resides in New Jersey. The deadline to apply is March 13th, 2025.
