CELEBRATING LPB's
2023 LOUISIANA YOUNG HEROES
On Monday, April 24, LPB celebrated six inspiring young people from across our state! Their day started with breakfast at LPB, where they were recognized by East Baton Rouge Parish Mayor-President Sharon Weston Broome. Then, it was off to LSU for a tour of the impressive LSU Football Operations facility and an on-field experience at Tiger Stadium followed by a luncheon at the Louisiana Governor’s Mansion. It was a short trip to the State Capitol where the Young Heroes were able to meet with Governor John Bel Edwards and be officially recognized by the Louisiana Legislature for being role models in their communities.

You can learn more about each of the honorees at www.lpb.org/heroes.
Explore photos from their day on the LPB Facebook page.
