Happy New Year! May the coming months be filled with God’s blessed presence. 

This Sunday, we begin the season of Epiphany—of revealing and unveiling—with the baptism of Jesus, the revelation of God-with-us in the midst of this world of chaos. 

As we renew our own baptismal vows this week, we ask “Where might you expect to find the baptized?” Rowan Williams responds: “In the neighbourhood of chaos.” He continues: “If being baptised is being led to where Jesus is, then being baptized is being led towards the chaos and the neediness of a humanity that has forgotten its own destiny.” 

After the service, join the community for coffee, tea and fellowship, then stay for Conversations. Our topic this week is "Baptismal Living in an Age of Uncertainty.”

News from Villages Calgary:

Giving Week at Villages Calgary was a success.  PWRDF had a total in sales of $2690.08 and as a result, a cheque for $269.01 was sent to PWRDF. 

Thank you so very much for being part of this event.  Every dollar spent helps marginalized people in communities around the world. It also helps to support the intiatives of PWRDF.
