PTO Updates:

Join us at our final meeting of the school year on Tuesday, May 16th at 9:30am in room 818. We will be voting to approve the budget and leadership positions for next year. The draft budget can be found on the PTO Website. The new leadership team will be voted in and assume their roles at the May 16 PTO meeting. The slate of leadership roles is below.


We have several open positions, and immediately need to fill President Elect and Spiritwear chair. If you have any interest in the open positions, please email jcboothmspto@gmail.com

Chorus Notes


SIXTH GRADE CHORUS at 5th Grade Fine Arts Preview, Tuesday 5/16

Students should wear this uniform to school since the performance is in the morning: Six Flags shirt if they have one, OR a Booth shirt, OR a mostly green shirt with long blue jeans (must be dress code) and sneakers (no Crocs). They may change after the performance. 


SPRING FINALE INFORMATION

May 17, Wednesday - Optional rehearsal at MHS, 4:30 PM - 6:00 PM

May 18, Thursday - Optional rehearsal at MHS, 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM

May 22, Monday - Students report at 5:30 PM for dress rehearsal, doors open at 6:50 PM

Spring Finale starts at 7:00 PM at MHS and will end at approximately 8:15 PM. 

PLEASE NOTE: Booth students are welcome to come to our Spring Finale and support their Chorus friends but they must be accompanied by an adult. Students will not be allowed to attend on their own.

Please add the BOX TOPS app to your phone, and start scanning your grocery receipts! Band, Chorus, and Orchestra share our earnings to purchase needed items for our classrooms. Please encourage family, friends, and neighbors to consider supporting us as well! Continue to scan through the summer!

Custodian Request


The awesome custodial staff is planning a major summer cleaning project at JC Booth! They have requested any old towels or cleaning rags that you can donate. Please bring up to the front office. Thank you for supporting the care and cleanliness of our new school.

Basketball Camp of Champions


Coach Dave Edinger is offering several different opportunities for summer basketball camps for grades 1-8. Registration for camps begins on April 11th. These camps fill up VERY quickly. Please click HERE for more information.

Girls Basketball Camp


Coach Erin Reynolds is offering a “Girls Only” FUN filled day camp covering basketball fundamentals, relays, games, shoot offs and more. Experienced and Inexperienced skilled players welcome.

Any Girls interested in learning more basketball at Booth, or trying out next year! Register for July’s summer camp through MySchoolBucks- any girl can attend. Invite friends from other area middle schools also!

Teacher & Staff Appreciation Week


Thanks to all of you for your donations this year to help make our Warrior staff feel appreciated. Last week the PTO provided a luncheon, breakfast and more to all the teachers and staff. We are especially grateful to Popeyes Louisiana Kitchen in Lexington Circle, Friends Table Restaurant in the Avenue, CardmyYard PTC, and Kumon of Peachtree City for providing food and treats this week.
