St. Louis County Library

The St. Louis County Library announced today that Cardinals Care, the charitable arm of the St. Louis Cardinals, is donating $200,000 to sponsor a new bookmobile! SLCL is also releasing a limited-edition Cardinals library card to celebrate the announcement! The new Cardinals Care bookmobile will feature a distinctive wrap celebrating baseball and literacy, and will house a collection of approximately 5,000 items featuring a diverse range of authors, genres and age levels.

“The Cardinals have been a longtime supporter of the Library,” said Kristen Sorth, St. Louis County Library Director & CEO. “Their investment in literacy has made a real impact on our community. Sponsoring a new bookmobile will continue that legacy, and will help open up a world of discovery and enjoyment for students for years to come.”
