CTC ACADEMY BEYOND GRADUATION

The CTC Academy Beyond Graduation project aims to support CTC families in preparing for their child’s life after graduation. Preparing for a good adult life and successfully implementing that plan are complex and multifaceted tasks, but these important goals are achievable. The Beyond Graduation project is supporting families by:

1. Connecting CTC families to share information and ideas – and to support one another before and after graduation.

2. Growing CTC’s relationships with organizations that provide adult services and can serve our graduates.

3. Sharing information about the services and supports available to adults with significant disabilities – like day programs, residential options, supported employment, and community support for leisure activities and recreation. Information is shared during monthly parent meetings and on the Road Ahead Facebook page – as well as informally.

4. Advocating for needed changes to NJ state policy and funding for adults with significant disabilities – so that expansion and improvements in supports and services are possible.

ONE MORE WEEK TO GET YOUR CTC ACADEMY MERCHANDISE AT OUR POP-UP SHOP - EXTENDED DUE DATE: JANUARY 12TH, 2024

In response to requests for CTC Academy apparel, we are running this CTC Pop-Up until January 12th with items shipped to the campuses in February.

Delivery expected by February 26, 2024

You may pick up your merchandise on those dates. If you would like merchandise sent home with your CTC student, please email rgust@ctcacademy.org.

The CTC Academy Buddy Program with the Midland Park School 6th graders is back! The Buddy Program offers a unique opportunity for typically developing peers to gain empathy by interacting with students with differences, and provides our students with meaningful peer social interactions and role models. Thank you to the teachers and staff at both schools for making this program possible.
