HAPPY NEW YEAR!
This leadership team is now 1/2 way though it's term. With a year behind us to learn from and a presidential year ahead of us, we have a lot to do!
The year began with a new website that could be viewed in Spanish and a backend candidate zone filled with helpful templates, campaign information, calendar, Numinar videos, advance ballot info and more.
In order to lower our operating costs we opened up the office space, eliminating unnecessary office/storage rooms to create a large meeting room. This room has allowed us to save between $750-$1400 a month by eliminating a room rental fee for Elephant Club. We are able to invite auxillary clubs and outside groups to rent the space for a nominal fee and are pleased that Sunflower Club, the NEJCC and Young Republicans are all regularly utilizing the new space.
We also created an office suite at the front that is available for small groups or candidates to use.
The first quarter will be very busy for the JCRP. The presidential preference election will be held March 19th. In anticipation of that the JCRP will hold it's Big Tent Grand Ol' Party Friday, March 8th. This will be a fun evening event for adults with a speaker(s) to be announced soon. This will not be a boring chicken dinner event. Mark your calendar now!
Last year we learned the value of voter guides in non-partisan races. While we will have a few BOCC races that are non-partisan the keys this year will be messaging that inspires voter turnout and resonates with a growing number of unaffiliated voters.
Messaging that inspires voters cost money. Events cost money. So many times when we boil a problem down the fix requires money. We have trimmed all the fat at JCRP. We increased the number of days the office was open, eliminated a $300 a month internet expense, a duplicated VOIP as well as the prior mentioned monthly room fee for Elephant Club.
Year Over Year Numbers
78% increase in fundraising
35% increase in # individual donors
20% increase in transactions

We need your help in 2024 more than ever! We have shown our ability to fundraise and to be responsible with your donations. If everyone who receives this newsletter would donate $20.24 we would meet our needs for the year. Sadly, the first time I sent this only 38.8% of people opened this email. Another 50% will not read this far. If you are one does can you consider a $100 donation to the Johnson County Republican Party? Could you donate $20.24 monthly? Would you share this email with a friend?
Please Note - 0%, not one single penny goes to the RNC. Moreover, the RNC does not fund the JCRP in any way. Every dime we take in is carefully spent to help candidates right here in Johnson County. Thank you for giving!
