Our Middle School History students made historical dioramas using chicks (or peeps). Do you recognize any of these historical events?

Library Book Return Drive

The final day to check out a WCA library book is April 28th. The book return drive begins May 1st. Please return your WCA Library books to the bin in the hallway. Thank you so much for your cooperation in the book return drive. The Douglas County Library will be open for you to check out books all summer.

Math Olympiad

The 4th-6th grade Math Olympiad took place at WCA. This year for the first time ever it ended in a tie between brothers. The tie breaker was close as well, ending in a 4-3 victory for John.

Coed Cheerleading Summer Camp at WCA

Coed Cheerleading Camp will include stunts beginning with correct loading techniques and continuing through the skill level of campers to develop proper technique and safety. Tumbling, cheering with correct arm motions, cheering with pom poms or megaphones, cheering with signs and voice inflection of cheers will be highlighted. Come make new friends and improve your cheer skills at cheer camp with the WCA Coed Cheer Coach; Coach Carpenter.

Family Volunteering

World Compass Academy asks that each family volunteer 15 hours per school year. The volunteer requirement needs to be completed by the end of the school year. WCA will be using Track It Forward to log all volunteer hours completed this school year. Look for information on Track It Forward Accounts to be sent out soon.
