Recover & Reset

As I write this, we are sitting in sunny St. George, Utah! With clear skies and 50+ degree weather, what more could an Alaskan ask for?

Many of you know it has been a challenging stretch for the Law family with Cathy surviving a cardiac arrest ( read about that here ), and we need a warmer place to both recover and reset. Normally, by this time, I would have a long list of goals for the year and my Type A personality would be ticking off the checklist of accomplishments at a feverish pace. But, following such a traumatic experience, we find a need to recover and reset. The 'little stuff' is way less important and we are rejuvenating in warm, sunny Utah surrounded by the incredible Zion National Park and beautiful Bryce Canyon.

We are extremely thankful for the capability to work remotely and we are incredibly thankful for our wonderful clients and our Sundog team. Right now, it's time for me to take a break from the computer, have a walk with Cathy and the triplets, and look out over the snow-covered mountains above the rugged red desert country.

I want to encourage you to enjoy the little things. Love more, laugh more, and if you don’t know Christ as your personal savior please take some time to consider pursuing that relationship. I can say for certain that without Christ beside me, while I was doing CPR on my wife of 33 years, I don’t think I could have made it. He got both of us through the toughest time of our lives.

God Bless!

Joe Law

PS - I thought this verse was a good fit. Especially the part about “Winter Is Past”.

“My beloved spake, and said unto me, Rise up, my love, my fair one, and come away. For, lo, the winter is past, the rain is over and gone; The flowers appear on the earth; the time of the singing of birds is come, and the voice of the turtle is heard in our land; The fig tree putteth forth her green figs, and the vines with the tender grape give a good smell. Arise, my love, my fair one, and come away.”
‭‭Song of Solomon‬ ‭2‬:‭10‬-‭13‬ ‭KJV‬‬
