Our team thanked Amy Isenburg this week for her dedicated service to the Nature Center, JCPRD, and the community. Annually she greets thousands of visitors, schedules hundreds of programs and field trips, creates marketing materials, and much more.

Happy Administrative Professionals Day, Amy!

Want to get to know this amazing human? Read a little about her and some of her favorite things!

What do you love to see at the center?

I get very excited when I see a plant blooming for the first time in the season and when it is time to burn the prairies.

What is the favorite part of your job?

Talking to people about plants.

Were you interested in nature as a child?

Yes, all my summer vacations were in the National Parks. Hiking up to Sperry Chalet in Glacier National Park because we had to share the mountains with the goats.

What is your passion?

My passion is to connect people to preserved natural and historic spaces.

Who(or should we say Hoooo?) is your favorite Ernie Miller Nature Center animal?

The Eastern Screech Owl.

Support your favorite administration professionals where you are, and don't forget to stop by and say hey to Amy the next time you are at
