PINK AGAVE KNIT-ALONG

• Friday, December 29th, January 5^th & 12^th
• Time: 2:00-4:00pm
• Join us for this fun Casapinka KAL. We have started this KAL, but no worries!!! This KAL is all about having fun with our fiber friends. It is an easy knit, so you can join us at any time.
• Materials: One “Dinosaur Egg” (one ball) of Noro’s Akari, Kakigori, or Uchiwa. We have plenty of these Dino Eggs in the shop. You may want to use two of these Dino Eggs for a longer shawl. You will also need size US 7 knitting needles.
• Instructors: Barb Carroll & Karen Stoltz

BEGINNNG SWEATER CLASS

• Saturday, January 6^th, 13^th, 20^th, February 2^nd
• Time: 2:00-4:00pm
• Want to make your first sweater? “Purls of Wisdom” is the perfect pattern for you. Join Amy as she helps you navigate the pattern, sizing and fitting a pull-over sweater. This is a perfect class for someone who knows how to knit and purl but has never knit a sweater.
• Materials: worsted weight Yarn, US 7, 8, or 9 needle (whatever size you need to get gauge). If yarn is purchased at STGN, we’ll provide the pattern for you. Note: Amy is using Falkland worsted weight yarn
• Skill Level: Beginner friendly sweater class; however, you need to know how to knit and purl.
• Instructor: Amy Murphy
• Cost: No charge if yarn is purchased at STGN. If yarn is purchased elsewhere, Class fee is $10.00 per session

FIELD FRENZY CLASS

• Tuesday, January 9^th, 16^th, 23^rd, 30^th
• Time: 2:00-4:00pm
• Join us for four weeks of Field Knitting! We are in love with the designs of Camilla Vad. 
• Materials:
• Field Cardigan: DK or Fingering/Mohair – see pattern for yardage - Needle size 4 & 6
• Field Beret: one skein of DK or one skein of Fingering & Mohair- Needles: Size 6 circular and size 2 or 3 DPN’s
• Field Mittens: one skein of DK or one skein of Fingering & Mohair- Needle Size 2 or 3
• Pattern for whichever of these you choose – on Ravelry. Pattern for the sweater will be provided by the shop if you purchase the yarn from STGN.
• Skill Level: These classes are for intermediate to advanced knitters
• Instructors: Barb Carroll & Amy Murphy

MONET MOMENT SHAWL CLASS

• This is a gorgeous shawl pattern by Cally Monster – one of our favorites.
• Materials: Two skeins of fingering/sock weight yarn (Barb used two skeins of Emma’s Super Silky Sock Yarn), Size 5 & 7 knitting needles,

BEAR PAW SOCKS CLASS

• Saturday, January 20^th & 27^th
• Time: 2:00 – 4:00
• Materials: two skeins of fingering/sock weight yarn or one skein of DK yarn, US 4 knitting needles, pattern -$7.00 on Ravelry.
• Instructor: Barb Carroll
• Cost: $25.00 – this covers both sessions of instruction

TOE-UP SOCK CLASS

(a great introduction to making Socks)

• Tuesday, January 23^rd & 30^th  (You will be making a full-size sock during this two-session class)
• Time: 10:30am – 1:00pm
• Materials: one skein of sock yarn, 32” circular needle that gives you a gauge of 7-8 stitches per inch (Size 1-3 knitting needle – depending on gauge)
• Skill Level: You need to be able to know how to knit and purl, make decreases, and know how to read your knitting. 
• Skills Learned: Judy’s Magic Cast-On, Magic Loop method, short row heel, lifted increases

Need help with a project? Dropped a stitch or having problems with a complicated lace project? We can help with that. Here is our store policy on helping customers:

• If you have a knitted or crocheted problem that will only take 15 minutes or less, please call first to make sure one our staff members can help. It is not always possible for us to help on a drop-in basis.
• If your knitting or crochet problem will take more than 15 minutes, please call us at 828-349-0515 to make an appointment with one of us.

Appointments/lessons can be booked for $25.00 an hour. 

We will be shutting down our online store for the next several months in order to make needed improvements and enhancements to serve you better in the future. Thank you for your understanding and patience.

We will be glad to take any orders over the phone (828-349-0515) and ship the product to you.
