Canadian Chamber of Commerce - Letter Concerning the Upcoming Tax Increase on Beer, Wine and Spirits  

In a letter to Deputy Prime Minister Chrystia Freeland, we expressed our concern regarding the upcoming above-inflation 4.7% tax increase on beer, wine and spirits the government has scheduled to take effect on April 1, 2024. Such an increase would have a significant negative impact on Canadian consumers and businesses throughout the beer, wine and spirits value chain, including farmers, producers, retailers and restaurateurs.

Woods Driving School - Airdrie


Woods Driving School is a licensed business committed to empowering individuals with the skills and knowledge needed for safe and confident driving. At Woods Driving School-Airdrie they offer a full insurance reduction course along with hourly lessons. 


Instructor Sueann Trumble, has over 10 years of experience teaching in-car lessons and over six years of classroom instruction and management. Her student roster includes ages from 14 and up with her oldest student being 81. 


Sueann moved to Airdrie from Fort McMurray in 2022 to be closer to family and making it her permanent home.


After a fantastic 2023, Sueann is looking forward to meeting her future Airdrie students. Any students who register before the end of January will receive 10% off the regular price of our full insurance reduction course.
