Dear Faithful Prayer Partner,
This month’s communications have been disrupted as our teams continue to navigate the ongoing situation in Goma. In the midst of turmoil and upheaval, God is still working—and Mending the Soul is still reaching out with the soul-healing message of Christ’s redemption.
Though the enemy puts obstacles in our way and believes it can thwart the plans of God, we are not deterred. The enemy may build roadblocks, but the promise of God remains the same. As Job 42:2 reminds us, "I know that You can do all things; no purpose of Yours can be thwarted."
He is faithful, and His work of healing will continue.
Praise God for:
- His care and protection over our MTS teams and their families, even amid ongoing instability.
- The ongoing radio outreach program, where BHW teachings are broadcast weekly on seven local stations in Beni, Oicha, Mangina, Kasindi, Nobili, and Mutwanga—spreading healing messages to those in need.
- The successful BHW intensive training in Bunia (January 21-24, 2025) and CVC overview exposés for school leaders and chaplains in Butembo (February 25) and Biakato (March 4-5, 2025).
- The launch of new healing groups in Nobili, allowing more individuals to find healing and restoration.
- The several prayer and planning meetings held by our teams as they continue the work God has placed before them.
Please pray for:
- The end of war and lasting peace in Eastern DRC, especially in Rutsuru, Masisi, Lubero, Beni, Irumu, Mambasa, and Djugu, where many families have been displaced and forced into IDP camps.
- The people of Goma, where recent events have created additional hardship and uncertainty. Pray for protection, provision, and strength for families, churches, and our MTS teams working in the region.
- Upcoming BHW and CVC intensive trainings in Beni (April 2025) and the Healing Group Follow-up training in Oicha (November 11, 2024)—that these trainings would be effective and Spirit-led.
- God’s providence over the officialization process for MTS children’s ministries, as we work toward national registration to secure and sustain these healing efforts.
- The church in this region, that God would strengthen and empower its leaders in evangelism, counseling, and trauma healing.
- The MTS NO STRESS Choir, as they compose and produce 20 songs and videos to spread healing through music.
- The MTS and BHW teams, for endurance, protection, and wisdom as they continue their mission through healing groups, training, and outreach efforts—including the radio ministry.
