Experience four electrifying nights of jazz at the Celebrity Series' 2025 Jazz Festival, hosted at the newly opened Arrow Street Arts, from March 13-16. This year's lineup features a dynamic roster of artists who embody the genre's boundless creativity and expressive power: pianist and composer Sean Mason and his Quartet; bassist and composer Linda May Han Oh and her Quintet; bassist, singer-songwriter, and composer Mali Obomsawin with her Quartet; and harpist Brandee Younger and her Trio.
The four-night festival with two sets each night promises to be the must-attend event of the spring jazz season. With dramatic lighting and state-of-the-art acoustics, the Arrow Street Arts venue is built to the highest standards and better equipped than any other venue in the city. Intimate table seating and a full bar offering snacks and drinks welcome audiences to this musical celebration of next-generation jazz greats. More information available here.

Pulitzer Prize-winning composer and vocalist Caroline Shaw, twice heard on the Series as a founding member of Roomful of Teeth, and esteemed dancer and choreographer Vanessa Goodman, draw profound inspiration from the life of soil in their innovative dance and music installation, Graveyards and Gardens. This artistic collaboration delves into the rich, nurturing bed of soil as a metaphor for life’s eternal cycle, weaving a tapestry of memory, movement, and melody that celebrates the interconnectedness of death, renewal, and life.

Come for the books, stay for the community with Lovestruck Book's FIRST Queer Book Club! These meetings are for everyone- an inclusive space for guests to explore queer storylines and celebrate diverse voices in literature. We're starting off the series by diving into A Bluestocking's Guide to Decadence, the third in the Victorian Era Lucky Lovers of London Series by Jess Everlee. The meeting will be led by book-lover and Lovestruck manager, Kayla Januchowski.

Collaging with Climable
Climable, a local woman-led climate non-profit, is joining us at 7 PM on March 20th for a collage night. We've collected a bunch of old posters, magazines, journals, and other print materials otherwise headed for the landfill for folks to cut up. Bring your own materials if you'd like, but we'll have everything you need to make a fun, frenetic collage.
Community Yoga with Lucie
Start your Sunday off with some free yoga! At 9:30 AM on March 23rd, local instructor Lucie Kasova will be leading a free yoga class at Patagonia Cambridge. These classes are first come, first served, and BYOM (bring your own mat). It is helpful to know how many people to expect, so please still RSVP!

Moonbox Productions

Moonbox Productions is thrilled to present the gospel musical, Crowns, opening on April 11th and running through May 4th at Arrow Street Arts. A powerful and jubilant musical mixing gospel, jazz and a little bit of hip hop, in which hats become the springboard for an exploration of Black history and identity as seen through the eyes of a young Black women. Crowns is a celebration of sisterhood, self-expression and fabulous hats. Get ready to clap your hands and tap your feet because these ladies have "hatitude". Say hello to the Cambridge KiOSK—a vibrant new public space and information center opening in early 2025 in the heart of Harvard Square! Housed in the historic kiosk that once welcomed subway riders and hosted the iconic Out of Town Newsstand, this lively destination is designed to bring people together. Featuring installations by local artists, hands-on workshops, and opportunities to learn more about Cambridge, there will always be something happening. The KiOSK is a collaborative effort between CultureHouse and the Cambridge Office for Tourism, blending community programming with visitor information services. Supported by the City of Cambridge, the KiOSK reimagines a beloved landmark as a hub for information, creativity, and connection.

Share your love for Cambridge with visitors by volunteering at our Visitor Information Center, located in the Kiosk Visitor Center volunteers greet visitors, give directions, hand out brochures and maps, suggest things to do, and answer questions about visiting Cambridge. The Cambridge-Ellis School has a limited number of openings remaining in our afternoon preschool Language Immersion Programs in French, Spanish, and Chinese (Mandarin) for the 2025-26 school year.
