We can talk about the number of households FPTV assisted this year (more than 300) or the number of meals served (more than 70,000) but the best way to understand the impact we have is to hear it in a client's own words.
Carrie* and her family came into our shelter a few months ago. She shared:
"I am so grateful for the Family Promise program. I was feeling pretty hopeless, like I had the weight of the world on my shoulders and I couldn’t get any further than where I was, homeless and helpless. The day I heard my Case Manager’s voice on the phone was the best day ever!!! She gave me hope and has gone above any expectations I could’ve ever had. She feels like one of our family now and I look forward to seeing her every time I get a chance to. Thank God for all you working so hard to save us all and thank you for all the love ."
Carrie and her family got into housing last week: just in time for a fresh start to the new year!
