Text Message Scam

There were several congregation members who received text messages this week from Pastor John requesting the purchase of gift cards. Please, know that your Pastor’s will never make these types of requests. If you are unsure of a message, you have received call the church office to confirm the request prior to making any purchases.

BWCA Canoe Replacement

Again, this summer Atonement pastors and youth are planning multiple Boundary Waters Canoe trips. Before they leave in late July, Atonement would like to purchase 4 new canoes that are large, durable, lightweight, and reliable. Then, everyone can feel safe, confident, and comfortable when they hit the Boundary waters this summer. 

Atonement can purchase discounted canoes, but they are costly, between $2,700 - $3,300 a piece. If you are willing to donate towards the replacement of the canoes, please, make your check out to Atonement Lutheran and in the memo line write BWCA Canoes. We appreciate whatever you can give. Please pray for continued successful Boundary Waters trips, there are two planned this summer July 30-August 3 & August 8-11.
