This year's conference will include deep-dive sessions from national speakers, an inspiring keynote from Ovi Vasquez, 20-minute FLASH sessions, networking opportunities, and a convening of the Ohio Girls Collaborative. ASTC 2025 Annual Conference Call for Proposals

The Call for Proposals for the ASTC 2025 Annual Conference is now open. Submissions may address any topic relevant to science and technology centers and museums and the broader fields of informal science learning and public engagement with science. Proposals are due January 17, 2025.

Federal Strategic Plan for Advancing STEM Education and Cultivating STEM Talent

This 5 year strategic plan will guide the federal government, in coordination with multi-sector collaborators throughout the STEM ecosystem, to inspire, teach, recruit, train, and retain talent in STEM learning, working, and research settings so that people across the country can achieve their aspirations in STEM.

EngineerGirl Writing Contest

There is still time to enter the 2025 EngineerGirl writing contest. Students in grades 3-12 are asked to write a piece about a common object they would make “smart,” what it would do, and what could go wrong. Deadline is February 1, 2025, top prize is $1000!
