Hello everybody!
Happy Holy Week! As we journey through these last days of Lent to the joyful celebration of Easter and Christ’s resurrection, I want to extend a special invitation to you to participate in our Triduum liturgies. Holy Thursday (7:00 p.m.), Good Friday (7:00 p.m.), and the Easter Vigil (Saturday, 8:30 p.m.) are powerful rituals of foot washing, commemoration of the last supper, veneration of the cross, candle light in darkness, and the sacraments of initiation. To highlight the value and practice of Lent, it has become popular to make this Lent your “best Lent ever.” Participating in the Triduum can also make this Easter your best Easter ever!
If you have been participating the Rice Bowl this year, you can return your Rice Bowl in the gathering space or make a donation online here, choose the Rice Bowl fund. Thanks for your generosity. As a reminder, there is no 5:00 p.m. mass on Saturday because of the Easter Vigil and there will be no 5:30 p.m. mass on Easter Sunday. Additionally, the parish office will be closed on Good Friday and the Monday following Easter.
May God be with you, guide you, and lead you to your best Easter ever.
Peace,
Fr. Jeff
