Karaya Among Three Florida-Breds Set for Ladies Turf Sprint

M Racing Group LLC’s Karaya, who just missed getting her first career stakes victory in the Abundanatia last out, returns to the Gulfstream Park turf Saturday for the $140,000 Ladies Turf Sprint for nine fillies and mares going five furlongs. Trained by Mark Casse, Karaya is one of three Florida-breds who will be running for a $15,000 bonus presented by the Florida Thoroughbred Breeders’ and Owners’ Association.

Naughty Rascal Hits the Derby Trail in Sam. F. Davis to Fulfill Trainer's Dream

TAMPA BAY DOWNS PRESS RELEASE 


OLDSMAR, FL. – A strong performance by Florida-bred Naughty Rascal in Saturday’s $250,000, mile-and-a-sixteenth Sam F. Davis Stakes for three-year-olds at Tampa Bay Downs could result in the colt advancing to the track’s annual showcase event, the $400,000 Lambholm South Tampa Bay Derby (G3) on March 8.
