The Holy Cross Athletics Hall of Fame committee is pleased to announce that Mr. Ron Brocato has graciously agreed to rejoin the committee in pursuit of furthering the mission of recognizing the distinguished athletes who have shaped the programs of Holy Cross throughout the years.
Journalist Ron Brocato is the founder of the New Orleans Prep Sports Hall of Fame and the author of The Golden Game: When Prep Football Was King in New Orleans. The sports editor for the Clarion Herald, Mr. Brocato has been named Louisiana's Sports Writer of the Year by the National Sports Writers and Sportscasters Association, as well as Prep Writer of the Year by the Louisiana Sports Writers Association.
In addition, Mr. John Serio was appointed by Holy Cross President Mr. Justin Fleetwood ’91 as the school representative to the committee. Mr. Serio rejoined the Leadership Team at Holy Cross School in January 2025 as the Assistant to the President for School Operations.
