Grace Presbyterian Church in Round Rock returned to the top as the Souper Bowl of Caring Champion and won the coveted championship belt! This is decided by total items per capita! Also, Shepherd of the Hills Presbyterian Church in Austin was victorious in the inaugural Total Items Trophy for the most items collected!

We're already excited and gearing up for 2026's Souper Bowl of Caring! If you're interested in helping in any capacity please reach out to Neil McKown (neil@shpc.org)! Thank you to everyone who competed--thank you for tackling hunger together!

Welcome Pastor Lora East to University Presbyterian Church

University Presbyterian Church joyfully welcomes Pastor Lora East as our new pastor, starting February 2025. A Texas native, Pastor Lora brings extensive ministry experience (most recently serving as Associate Pastor at Brentwood Presbyterian Church in Los Angeles) and advanced theological education, including a Master of Divinity from San Francisco Theological Seminary.

Pastor Lora’s faith focus centers on God’s presence and grace, the reconciling work of Jesus Christ, the transformative power of the Holy Spirit, and the church’s role in spreading the gospel and promoting justice. She envisions Christian community as a place of relationship, worship, and inclusive action, modeling God’s kingdom for the world.

We are excited for Pastor Lora to join us and look forward to her leadership and ministry in our community!
