Horse racing in the snow, with a twist, is back for its 5th season at Canterbury Park! A horse, most often a quarter horse, and a rider in a stock saddle run down the stretch pulling a skier through a demanding course complete with gates and jumps as they compete against the clock and another team to qualify for the finals. Winter Wiener & Corgi Dog Racing will take place during the event. Yes, dachshunds and corgis will dash over the snow in trial heats; the top dogs will reach the finals and have a shot at Winter Dog Racing immortality. Other activities will include a marketplace with over 20 vendors, Hope Rides Kids Zone, bonfires with s'mores, Kids Snow Box, and an Ice Bar with specialty cocktails.
