New Riverfront Trail Mile Markers

Trail mile markers were installed along a portion of the Riverfront Trail recently. The markers begin at the west end of the trail at city limits and continue east to the Las Colonias area marking over seven miles. The addition of the trail markers serves many purposes including the Adopt-A-Trail program, general way-finding information, and the ability for trail users to know the distance they have exercised while on the trail. The markers also serve as a location reference should emergencies or issues occur requiring support within the area.
