This weeks highlighted career and competition areas are Baking and Welding! 

Baking

• A career in baking offers a variety of areas in which to specialize such as breads, bagels, pretzels, cakes, muffins, cookies, chocolate, candy, sugar and other pastries
• This is a Red Seal Certified Trade
• This competition is run at the Skills Canada BC Provincial Competition at the Secondary and Post-Secondary levels

Welding

• Welding involved the joining of metals using manual, semi-automatic and automatic arc welding equipment 
• This is a Red Seal Certified Trade
• This competition is run at the Skills Canada BC Provincial Competition at the Secondary and Post-Secondary levels
