DOE/Market Assessment Tool & CPACE Toolkit

You don't need to be a leprechaun to find gold in your community's buildings with new tools and resources now available from the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE). DOE’s just-released Energy and Building Market Assessment Tool: Commercial PACE Application allows any C-PACE stakeholder to access localized data and analysis related to commercial building characteristics (e.g., age, type, ownership characteristics), energy use, and energy savings potential.

Join Sean Williamson, DOE and Dub Taylor, TPA in this March T5 webinar on St. Patrick’s Day, March 17, at 2 pm to learn more.
First 2022 TX-PACE project closes in Austin

The Travis County PACE program is facilitating the development of an efficient modular hotel in south Austin with a $1,445,000 PACE project for building envelope, LED lighting, HVAC and water efficient plumbing.
Texas PACE Authority is a nonprofit organization that advances Property Assessed Clean Energy (PACE) projects in Texas by administering a uniform commercial and industrial PACE program on behalf of local governments. This model approach ensures local governments can establish an effective TX-PACE program quickly and economically, providing a tool for property owners to invest in more efficient infrastructure.

Texas PACE Authority is committed to expand this vibrant program to every region in Texas, working with all parties – property owners, contractors, lenders, and local governments to bring energy and water improvements that are both economically sound and environmentally friendly. To date, 74 local governments have established TX-PACE programs reaching above 71% of the Texas population.
