Discover Carpentry and 2D Animation!

This weeks highlighted career and competition areas are Carpentry and 2D Animation! 

Carpentry

• There are two main carpentry categories: structural carpenters who build and maintain structures and detail carpenters who concentrate on interior cosmetic applications
• This is a Red Seal Certified Trade 
• This competition is run at the Skills Canada BC Provincial Competition at the Secondary and Post-Secondary levels

2D Animation

• Specific areas of their creative work ranges from video games, television shows, computer simulations and educational modules to special effects movies, websites and advertising
• This competition is run at the Skills Canada BC Provincial Competition at the Secondary level
