The National Geographic Slingshot Challenge
Submit a 1-minute video describing your idea for solving environmental issues, for a chance to receive up to $10,000USD in funding. For ages 13-18. Submissions due by 7 February, 2025.

Bow Seat's 14th Annual Ocean Awareness Contest
Learn about environmental issues through art-making and creative communication, explore your relationship to a changing world, and become an advocate for positive change. The 2025 theme is Connections to Nature: Looking Inside, Going Outside. For ages 11-18. The deadline is 9 June, 2025.

Register for Youth Advocacy Training!
The Ocean Project is running a free 4-week virtual Advocacy Training designed for youth ages 16-23 around the world who are looking to make a positive impact.
The training content will build upon and refine existing advocacy skills and encourage strengthened collaborative conservation action - locally, nationally, and globally. Participants will have the opportunity to talk with experts, network and collaborate with their peers, and develop a strong foundation for all their future advocacy efforts.
Since 2022, Youth Advocacy Training has had over 2300 youth participants from more than 120 countries around the world. Interested in getting connected with the global youth movement for the ocean and climate? Register now!
