Elkhart County 4-H and E3 Robotics: Pioneering Robotics and Life Skills Education

Elkhart County 4-H has teamed up with E3 Robotics to bring cutting-edge STEM and life-skills programming to local youth. This collaboration includes a LEGO Robotics team, which offers hands-on, team-based learning through structured robotics challenges, designed to inspire problem-solving and innovation in young minds.

Elkhart County 4-H and E3 Robotics are also establishing a cobot program that allows young learners to work with a Telamon Techman cobot. This initiative introduces youth to advanced robotics applications, offering a solid foundation for future STEM careers. Additionally, the partnership is expanding the “Adulting 101” workshop series, now hosted at E3 Robotics, where participants can gain life skills and explore tech-based topics like coding and 3D modeling and printing.

On October 19th, the two organizations hosted a LEGO robotics scrimmage, bringing local robotics teams together for friendly competition and skill-building. Earlier in the month, Elkhart County 4-H supported E3 Robotics' Science Spooktacular event at the fairgrounds, providing engaging animal science and automotive technology activities for youth.

Through this collaboration, Elkhart County 4-H and E3 Robotics are building a well-rounded, accessible learning environment that empowers youth with the skills to thrive in an increasingly technological world.
