Even though the weather was bad, we had a great combined attendance for Sunday’s worship services! I sensed a sweet spirit, and appreciate so much that the choir sang in both services. Rhys sang the special music and was awesome! Also, Jet Clogher added so much to my message by reciting the text from Ephesians 1:15-23. To God be the glory!
I appreciate the great turnout of our ordained men for Jeremiah Cloy’s ordination council Sunday afternoon. He did a great job in answering questions and sharing from his heart. The recommendation to proceed with ordination was unanimous, and we did just that in a special 6:00pm service. Please take a moment to congratulate Jeremiah and Amanda, and add them to your prayer list!
Work on the gym is progressing rapidly. Although you can’t see it from the outside, the carpenters have been busy framing up the walls on the inside. In a couple of weeks you will have an opportunity to enter with your Sunday School class and write Scripture verses on the metal supports and floor. We will supply the markers. Once the sheetrock and flooring have been installed, these Scripture verses will remain as an unseen vanguard on this building God has so graciously provided!
Brian and Carla Tyndall will be leading a tour of the Holy Land December 28 – January 6. They will be here on Sunday, February 12th, at 5:00pm to give information and answer questions. If you or anyone you know have any interest whatsoever in going, please plan to be here to get information on the trip!
Please continue to pray for Bro. Brad and Lori. Brad reports that he is getting stronger, and is standing and moving around for several minutes per day. However, although he is improving, he still needs our prayers for a full recovery.
You Are Loved!
