ST. JOHN MIDDLE SCHOOL PLAY

THURSDAY, MAY 4 & FRIDAY, MAY 5 – 7:30PM SJL GYM

SJL Middle School presents Order Up! By Kamron Klitgaard. If you have never worked in a fast-food restaurant - or even if you have - you’ll want to come see what kind of looney customers occasionally stroll in for a bite to eat, or to hide from their parents, apply for a

job despite a plethora of food allergies, mourn a lost love, or give unsuspecting costumers the Heimlich maneuver. As an employee, such people would lead you to hang up your apron and visor for good, but as a spectator, they can be a barrel of laughs. Come laugh along on Thursday and Friday May 4 and 5 at 7:30 PM in the gym. Produced by special arrangement with Pioneer Drama Service, Inc., Englewood, CO.

ME AND MY GUY DANCE

SATURDAY, MAY 13 | 6:00 – 8:00 PM | SJL GYMNASIUM

Young ladies are invited to the 8th annual “Me and My Guy” Dance. Girls are welcome to attend with dads, grandpas, uncles, or cousins. This year, dress in your raddest ‘80s outfits! The dance is hosted by the American Heritage Girls and is held in the St. John Lutheran school gym. Music will be provided by Traveling T-Bird Productions from Oostburg. Photography will be provided by Irish Studios from Sheboygan. Light refreshments will be available in the school cafeteria. The cost is $10/family and is payable at the door. Any questions, please email Nancy Lefeber at nancylefeber@wi.rr.com.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

This summer at Vacation Bible School, we’re covered in Jesus’ grace! Our theme for this year, God’s Living Water: Covered in Jesus’ Grace, is inspired by 1 Timothy 1:14, which says, “The grace of our Lord overflowed for me with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus.” Each of the lessons focuses on biblical accounts that emphasize the Living Water, Jesus Christ. We will do crafts, sing songs, eat snacks, and play fun games! Join us July 24th-27th (9:00am-11:30am).

-Students: 3K-5th Grade (must be potty-trained – grade going into in the Fall) are invited to attend. Donation of $5 per child or $10 per family.

-Staff: Completed 6th-8th grade, in High School, College, and Adults. Staff typically helps guide and shepherd students from one station to another.

-Registration is open for all participants of VBS! Volunteers and students – sign-up now to reserve your spot: https://vbsmate.com/events/sjlplymouth/27093.

NEAT REPEATS UPDATE

At the February Neat Repeats Board meeting, a new 10-year lease to remain at the present location was unanimously approved and subsequently signed. This lease will provide stability and a guarantee for the store’s future. Neat Repeats has been blessed with a wonderful 12-year story of success as has Lutheran High School as the beneficiary of that success. Lutheran High School and Neat Repeats together ask for your continued support as donors, volunteers, shoppers, and prayer partners.
