Renee Cohen will take students through Bushwick's Street Art and Culinary Scene (12727) on Wednesday, October 30, 2024. Enjoy unique graffiti art, wood-oven pizzas, authentic tacos, incredible chocolate, and Brooklyn's cool vibe.

On Wednesday, November 6, 2024, she heads to Industry City (12728), a one-stop ecosystem for experiences and one of the best new destinations for foodies.

For the final culinary tour before Thanksgiving, Cohen returns on Wednesday, November 20, 2024, to explore Chinatown (12729), where students will learn about Chinatown's history and secret wonders in this amazing neighborhood while tasting their way from one mouth-watering delight to another. Register now to see, smell, and sample New York City's great food destinations.

A recent addition to the catalog, Book Discussion and Breakfast: Be Ready When the Luck Happens (2024) by Ina Garten (12896) is scheduled for Friday, November 22, 2024. Registration is now full but please add your name to the wait list to be notified if we are able to open another section. Garten's much anticipated memoir is flying off bookshelves even faster than her husband Jeffrey can consume the delicacies she cooks for him.

The countdown is on until SAS rolls out the red carpet for the Rokers and Joy Bauer on Wednesday evening, December 11, 2024, at Temple Israel of New Rochelle. Meet the world's most famous weatherman Al Roker and his daughter, Courtney Roker Laga, as they discuss their new family cookbook, Al Roker's Recipes to Live By. The Rokers will be joined in conversation with Joy Bauer, MS, RDN, CDN, one of the nation’s leading health authorities. Rejoice in and relate to the Roker family rituals while thumbing through the Roker family recipe box. Roker's amusing anecdotes explain why he writes that "Food is the narrative that has shaped so much of who I am, and it’s the source of my warmest memories." Registration includes a copy of the cookbook.

Mark your calendar and sign up for Recipes to Live By: An Evening with Al Roker and Courtney Roker Laga in Conversation with Joy Bauer (12819) today!
