Meet Poe's Cafe Theatre, featuring the National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre at the Linville Manor!!!

Because the Linville is an elegant and historic Air Bn'B that can accommodate up to 12 guests, my peeps from Jersey (yes, you) have no excuse not to come visit. I miss you. We have our first event planned for January. My new friends in Maryland have the option of just coming to the mentalist dinner show and belly dance after party! See below for more info.

Good news! We will still be doing the Hitman Mysteries on the Eastern Shore at Suicide Bridge Restaurant's Banquet Facility, bringing the good times onto dry land after a stellar summer on the Choptank River Queen. We are starting in January with The Real Degenerate Housewives of MD! See below for more info.

The National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre had a staged reading of a new award winning work by Zac Pensol, A Christmas Carol for Edgar Allan Poe, at Fells Point Corner Theatre in Baltimore. I am proud to say I read the role of the Raven (Jacob Marley, sort of) amongst others. More about that below.

Poe's Cafe Theatre at the Linville Manor Opens January 18, 2025!!!

Starting with one weekend per month, Poe's Cafe Theatre is teaming up with the Linville Manor and the National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre to curate fantastic overnight and single evening events. January 18-19 is a New Year's Fun Retreat for those wishing to refresh and renew. There is also the option to join us Saturday evening for a healthy dinner, mentalist show, and belly dance lessons/dance party. February 15-16 is a Valentine's Day Sleepover for lovers, with the option of attending the Saturday night dinner performance of Hitman Mysteries: The Real Degenerate Housewives of MD and the afterparty only. March 15-16 is Family Fun Weekend with an interactive mystery, The Candyland Co. Mystery, Saturday afternoon for the kids, Dinner Buffet, Cocktails and Dance Party for Adults (sitter provided) Saturday night, and an Interactive Rock n' Roll Fairytale: The Gold Bug and acting workshop on Sunday afternoon. Optional seating available for The Candyland Co. Mystery and/or The Gold Bug and acting workshop, Less pricey than Disney World, and no waiting in line! Hitman Mysteries

The season of the River Queen came to a close with a sold out performance of WHO KILLED IT?. Thursday and Mortisha Atoms teach the audience the viral Tik-Tok Thursday Dance under Gomez's watchful gaze.

And looking into the future I see... More shows at Suicide Bridge Restaurant's Catering Facility on the banks of the Choptank River through the winter months starting Saturday February 1st with The Real Degenerate Housewives of MD!!! More about that to come.

National Edgar Allan Poe Theatre

Last weekend's staged reading performances of A Christmas Carol for Edgar Allan Poe at the Fells Point Corner Theatre in Baltimore were electric! The communion between the actors and the audience was palpable. Lively discussions about the future direction of the piece followed.
