Faculty Awards Presented During Winter Commencement

The 2024 Faculty Award for Distinguished Scholarship was presented to Dr. Eric Mazur, Professor of Religious Studies. Dr. Margaret Reese, Professor of Mathematics, was named the recipient of the 2024 Faculty Award for Campus Service. Congratulations!

EVENTS

January Term: January 3 - 24, 2025

January term, a three-week intensive term open to all VWU students and required of first and second year students, begins on January 3. During this term, students concentrate their studies on a single course. Offerings include unique courses not offered during fall or spring semesters and travel courses. Students can also fulfill needed course requirements and accelerate their academic progress.
