P&A's College Admissions Academy is excited to host its second Lunch and Learn series this year with founder and principal college counselor, Mindy Popp, who has more than 20 years experience working in the college admission profession. Our special guest for this event is Julie Shields-Rutyna, the Director of College Planning, Education and Training for MEFA (Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority). Julie will be available to address questions about college financial aid and college financing. Parents are welcome to ask questions about other topics, such as college admission, but we will definitely try to make the most of our time with Julie and encourage anyone with questions about paying for college to attend!

Parents and educators are welcome to join us for this free virtual Q & A session. Participants are asked to submit questions at the time of registration that Mindy and Julie will address during the event. Expert advice will be provided and valuable resources will be shared. Upcoming Events for Families

In the coming weeks and months, valuable FREE workshops, college fairs and other outreach events for high school families will be offered. Students are encouraged to explore colleges and summer opportunities. All events are open to the public.

NACAC (National Association for College Admission Counseling) is currently hosting virtual and in-person college fairs for prospective college students. Please note that the NACAC National College Fair in Boston will be held on May 2-3. To learn more and register to attend, please click here.

TeenLife is hosting a virtual summer opportunities fair in April. Please visit this website to learn more.

Six Colleges (Amherst, Bowdoin, Carleton, Pomona, Swarthmore, and Williams) is offering free virtual events for high school families and educators on March 28 and April 19. Please visit this website to learn more.

The Education Cooperative is hosting a college fair at Westwood High School on March 29. Families are asked to register in advance.

15 on the 15th: Liberal Arts Colleges Across the U.S. is a group of 15 colleges that will be offering virtual events for prospective students on the 15th of each month from April-November 2023. Coalition for College Virtual Workshops and Panel Discussions

Multiple panel discussions covering a wide range of topics related to the college search and application process, as well as workshops, are now available. Parents and students are encouraged to attend.
