25th Anniversary Newsletter

Happy New Year!

HAPPY 2025 EVERYONE! Thank you all for your ongoing support. Our business continues to grow because you share with others your love for us and what we have built for you. Your input and return visits guide us in direction and growth. In our new location we will have the capability to try new and different concepts you have suggested and can’t wait for you to see our new space. The actual physical move and occupancy is such a large project it’s beyond what we could have imagined so we have decided to move in stages and keep both locations open throughout the process.

Stage one was relocating our community event center. We have completed that relocation and enjoy being able to offer a larger and more versatile place for you to learn, shop and entertain in. We have listened to your needs and wants and will be offering opportunities to engage in international seminars, present your own developmental classes, participate in community events, and even offer a special energy place for weddings and fun-filled parties. The next stage will be relocating our Rock Depot followed with the relocation of our offices and finally the relocation of the retail store. The timing for all of this is a moving factor dependent on a number of uncontrollable events. What we can promise is we will be totally moved and operating in our new place for our next 2025 Annual Spring Trunk Show.

To help introduce you to our new community event center, announce us to our new community, plus give you a sneak peek of what new and exciting things we will be offering, we have reserved the weekend of January 25 for a Grand Opening Fair and sneak peek party. On Saturday, January 25, we will officially introduce ourselves to the neighborhood, have a diverse fair, property tours, special speakers, giveaways and a Grand Prize drawing. Our party continues on Sunday, January 26 with community event vendors, readers, and community partners plus on site beverage and food trucks and opportunities to get exclusive coupons for 25% off your purchase at our existing location at 4103 N IH35! 2024 is done so shake it off and look forward to a new year of success and happiness. Reset, restart and rethink situations. 2025 is slated to be a time for growth and development but only after a period of self-discovery and confidence-building time to help direct the energy. Described as a year of transformation and cosmic shifts this new year promises to feel lighter but still packed with opportunities for cleaning and clearing. The Chinese New Year starts on the 29th supporting the 2025 energy with the year of the wood snake symbolizing growth, wisdom and transformation. If all else fails, sit down the night of January 13, the beginning of the full moon, and allow yourself to open up and visualize the possibilities if only you could change or eliminate your own self-imposed blockages. Don’t be discouraged if you’re not seeing or feeling the shift immediately. It takes time to carry out change so rewards probably won’t be felt until after spring/summer. Promise yourself it’s going to be a great year!

Build-Out of New Rock Depot & Retail Showroom Continues!

Walls are going up, HVAC units are going in, and the project is coming together! Although we may not have our Retail Showroom or Rock Depot ready and permitted in time, we plan to have a visionary experience on Saturday, January 25 to share our dreams and aspirations for the new space with you as well as get some feedback on what you would like to see and how we can better serve you in our new space.

Whether you’ve been a part of our journey for decades or you’re discovering us for the first time, we’d love to celebrate this milestone with you. Featured Fossil: Fossilzed Coral From Indonesia

Approximately 20 million years ago, volcanic activity buried the coral reefs located in Indonesia. The ash provided the silica for the Agate replacement of the original skeletal structure of the ancient coral. Each coral specimen is unique and different. The ash contained manganese and iron, which aided in the development of the different color patterns. Fossil coral is usually distinguished from other corals because it has a waxy luster and a floral pattern. Unlike other coral specimens, the ancient Agatized coral is more dense and this is due primarily to the silica content present. Coral has been prized as a gem because it was believed to hold sacred and powerful properties. Ancient Egyptians would place a piece of coral in the tombs of the deceased to ward off evil spirits. The Romans would hang branches of coral around the necks of their children to protect them from danger. Whether you are seeking a good luck charm for the new year or love to collect minerals and fossils, this ancient treasure has the best of both.

Michael received his Bachelor's of Science in Earth Sciences from Rice University in 2008 and continued on to earn his Master's of Science in Geosciences from The University of Texas at Austin in 2012. As the Nature's Treasures General Manager, Michael oversees a strong team of individuals handling daily operations, employee relations, customer relations, jewelry purchasing, educational outreach, and marketing & advertising. Michael is a geek at heart, loving all things mineral and the X-Men. Be sure to say “We rock!” when you see him around town playing PokemonGo!
