IDSA Student Leadership Workshop


The Student Association (SA) Executive Board and other SA students attended the IDSA Leadership Workshop at Lyons Township High School! The Student Leadership Workshop is an opportunity for students across Illinois to collaborate and develop leadership skills to take their activities to the next level. Students participated in activities related to team-building, communication, engaging more students, and more!

Fine Arts Performances


RB Band and Orchestra had a great time hosting the S.E. Gross Junior High Band at the Halloween Concert! Be sure to check out more Fine Arts performances at the Fall Play, Shakespeare in Love, from November 14-17!

Latin American History Field Trip


On Tuesday, Latin American History students went on a field trip to the Pilsen Mural Walk and the National Museum of Mexican Art for their Day of the Dead Exhibit!

Bubble Lab in Biology


Students in Mrs. Kusy’s and Ms. Vara’s Biology class had fun exploring cell membrane properties through the Cell Membrane Bubble Lab! Using soap bubbles to model key characteristics of cellular membranes, students demonstrated and explained how these bubbles represent important cell concepts. 🫧

Debate Class Spotlight


Students in Ms. Wilmot’s Debate class held a debate with the topic “should remote learning play a major role in education?” The negative team (opposes remote learning) was led by captain Jackson Myers. The affirmative team (supports remote learning), led by captain Niazayah Rodriguez Del Valle, won the debate!

Chess Team Conference Meet


The Chess Team held their first conference meet vs. Glenbard South on Tuesday! Their next match will be on Monday, November 4 vs. West Chicago.

Veteran's Day Ceremony: November 11


RBHS is honoring our veterans at our annual breakfast and assembly on Monday, November 11. Please RSVP here if you are interested in attending.

Parent University: Thursday, November 21


Please join us for our 3rd Parent University of the 2024-2025 school year on Thursday, November 21, "Bullying and the Impact of Social Media on our Youth," presented by Bark for Schools. Learn more information about popular social media apps and how they work, the safety concerns of each app, and the safeguards built into these apps. The presentation will start at 6:00 PM in the Auditorium. We hope to see you there!
