Authentic British Pub Opens in Smithfield

On October 3, 2024, The Fiddlin’ Pig, an authentic British pub, held a Ribbon Cutting with the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce to celebrate its grand opening at 100 Main Street in Smithfield. Enjoy cask ale, local draft beer, gin drinks, a full bar, and British favorites from scratch with local ingredients. Congratulations to the owners, David and Mischelle Goodman, who have transformed the former Isle of Wight Chamber building into a cozy and welcoming environment. The pub opens daily at 4:00 p.m. for dinner.

Cupcakery Opens in Smithfield

On October 10, 2024, Smallcakes Cupcakery held a Ribbon Cutting with the Isle of Wight Chamber of Commerce to celebrate its grand opening at 13420 Benns Church Boulevard in Cypress Run Plaza. The new shop bakes cupcakes fresh daily in up to 15 flavors and specializes in cookie sandwiches, pupcakes, cake pops, cake slices, and macarons. Congratulations to the owners, Vincent and Amanda Brass, who are helping to satisfy the community’s sweet tooth!
