Don't Miss Our Monthly
Plant Tours!
Join your peers on our monthly Lean Tours where we walk the floors and the halls and learn about best practices and continuous improvement efforts of others on the Lean journey. Network over lunch!

Our next tour is at the CHUTES Intl. facility in Waldorf, MD. Chutes began their Lean journey with the MWCC in 2019 and since that time, the company has made huge strides enabling them to increase productivity and take on a larger marketplace! We look forward to sharing the progress of their improvement efforts all the way from the shop floor to their internal offices. You will see examples of standard work, visual management, value stream mapping and a culture of continuous improvement, where employees are encouraged to identify problems and find ways to improve processes.
What's not to love about condiments, manufacturing and an office dog? Our February plant tour was hosted by MWCC Board Chair, the Sauce-Boss himself, Phil Tulkoff. Founded in 1928, Tulkoff Food Products is a family-owned and operated food manufacturer/co-packing company based in Baltimore with a new facility in Ohio. Some of Tulkoff's most popular products include horseradish, garlic spreads, cocktail sauce, and specialty mayonnaise.

When you eat in a restaurant, you're likely being served Tulkoff condiments! Check out their online store where you can have some of their offerings shipped right to your door: https://tulkoff-food-products.myshopify.com/

DRS RADA was preceded by Maria Elena Stopher, President of ULTIMATE LEAN. The 3P methodology stands for Production Preparation Process and is aimed at creating a new process that is efficient, effective, and easy to use.
