Celebrating Office Workiversaries!

We recently celebrated two workiversaries, and continued the tradition of visiting our local Yum Yum donut shop!

Our Executive Director, Jacqui Baxter-Rollins, joined in 2020 and our Bookkeeper Judith has been in her position for a year.

Jacqui's leadership and Judith's diligence have been instrumental in helping us move forward - Thank You!

Upper Gwynedd Fall Fest Was A Success!

On October 21, we had the pleasure of attending Upper Gwynedd Township’s Fall Fest. We shared plans for new bike lanes coming in 2024 and the support was overwhelming!

Our ‘upcycled’ prize wheel was a big hit with the kids, and they got rewards for answering questions about bike safety.

Volunteers from Bike North Penn joined us, and we’d like to thank Carol, Matt, Judy, Dom, and Bill for their support.

We Appreciate Our Members!

This month, we honored our members with uniquely engraved bamboo plaques: the Eastern Montgomery County Chamber of Commerce's Executive Director, Jude Martin-Cianfano (pictured left), and Upper Perkiomen Valley's Chamber of Commerce's Executive Director, Leeanne Engle, and Erin Sweed, PerkUp Project Coordinator (pictured right).

We're looking forward to collaborating more with these fabulous chambers in future

We Have A New Bike Match!

Meet Doug!

If you’re around the East Greenville area, you might have seen Doug walking 3 miles round trip to work. Doug learned about our bike match program from our partner and the bike supplier, Bike and Sol. In addition to providing him with a bike, we supplied him with a helmet, bike lights, and a lock.

Brad met Doug and explained the best routes for safer cycling. He also shared resources with Doug, including details about RUTI (trip planning tool) and the Share-A-Ride program, so he can earn rewards.

Happy Riding!

PECO has launched a Public Benefit Charging Program

The Public Benefit Charging Program supports Level 2 and fast-charging installations and expands eligible uses to include charging stations for electric passenger buses, commuter shuttles, school buses, taxi cabs, and rideshare vehicles. This rebate is available for commercial customers, nonprofit organizations, and county, municipal, and regional government entities. The program will be available through 2024.

This rebate is the latest in a suite of programs available to encourage transportation electrification, including rebates for EV owners and PECO’s online EV Toolkit, which provides information on charging options and locations, as well as a tool to calculate potential savings and emissions reductions.
