GGUSD Students Team Up for Red Ribbon Week

It's Red Ribbon Week and GGUSD schools are doing a great job of getting students engaged in important topics like drug and bullying prevention. This week, Stanley Elementary School students "teamed up" against drugs in their favorite jerseys! Kudos to our schools in all of their Red Ribbon Week initiatives that support GGUSD's commitment to student well-being (Goal 2). #GGUSDPride #GGUSDGoalGetters

GGUSD Honors Employees for National Employee Disability Month

In honor of National Employee Disability Awareness Month, GGUSD is pleased to highlight Daniel Mallory who is visually impaired and serves as an Instructional Assistant at Heritage Computer Science Academy. Through the support of transcribed curriculum and braille materials, Daniel thrives at supporting students as they work to strengthen their academic skills (Goal 1) and personal skills (Goal 2).

Daniel said it inspires him to see students who have a hard time reading improve with hard work and perseverance. Daniel enjoys the opportunity to support students on their academic journey and was thrilled when one of the students he supported earned the Most Improved Award! We are grateful for employees like Daniel who can serve as positive role models to our students and are committed to their academic success. #GGUSDPride #GGUSDGoalGetters
