Project Firstline Offers Infection Control Actions for Respiratory Viruses

With the respiratory virus season upon us, CDC’s Project First Line offers training resources including Infection Control Actions for Respiratory Viruses. Topics covered include when to mask, when to socially distance and most importantly, getting an updated COVID-19 vaccine. IPRO also has many updated vaccine resources. The Adult Immunization Record helps adults track the vaccines they have received and is part of our LINKS Immunization Portfolio. Access here.

NEW! IPRO's Influenza, Pneumococcal, RSV, and COVID-19 Immunization Toolkit provides comprehensive resources and information on vaccines as well as strategies and shared clinical decision-making tools to make your vaccine campaign a success.

COVID-19 ED Visits and Hospitalizations Continue to Decline

The greatest number of COVID-19 cases continue to be seen in adults 75 years and older.

Long-term care facilities are seeing an increase in confirmed COVID-19 cases, reporting 7.5/1000 cases for the week ending October 15.

Vaccination remains a vital tool to protect public health. One dose of the updated 202302024 Moderna, Pfizer, or Novavax vaccine is required for individuals to be considered up to date.

You can make a difference. Help keep your community safe and healthy. Remember to WAVE - ask "What About Vaccines?" at Every Encounter.
