Chair Chat
Hello M&I,
Thank you so much for your engagement with recruiting last week. From what I can tell, U-M and M&I and the Immunology program all showed very well. It is time to do it again! We will have student guests on campus again this Friday, so please be as welcoming as possible!
Here are a few things to note.
Stop by room 5619 to finally see Harry’s picture honoring his 15 years of service as chair!
Stop by the main office to welcome Natalie Deeb, our new student services Program Manager. Natalie is on site and drinking through the firehose as we navigate our busy recruiting season. We are so thrilled to have her on-board, especially while Heidi is out on indefinite leave.
You can also stop by 5641 to say hello to Anukul Shenoy who is on campus this week house hunting and participating in recruiting events!
Faculty…please get your annual evaluations in asap. Remember we have a policy with consequences if they are late.
Fellowship bootcamp started this week. If you want to join, you still can…just drop me a note.
Join us for tea @ 3pm today - Moore lab is hosting!
Sincerely,
Beth

From Dr. Kunkel: Research Scouts is an agile, low-burden funding program which gives money to scientists (the “Scouts”) to invest in other scientists' bold ideas. It’s an investment in the “Bold Science” objective of Michigan Medicine’s research strategic plan, “ Great Minds, Greater Discoveries,” and is modeled on the Hypothesis Fund.
