Missed the December 31st deadline for your 2023 in-utero foal? You can still enroll your 2023 foal as a Breeding Entry for $500 or into the US Halter Futurity Program for $175. Do both programs for $675!

The 2023 In-Utero Foal Enrollment deadline has been extended until the end of the 2023 Scottsdale Show on February 26, 2023.

You can stop by the AHA Booth at Scottsdale and pick up an enrollment application. Enrollments can also be made online, or you can download an enrollment application from the AHA website here.

Pending Sweepstakes and Halter Futurity Work

If you have pending work for the Sweepstakes or Halter Futurity Programs, please submit requested information and/or payment to the AHA office as soon as possible. Information/payment not received within 30 days of notice of request (email or mail) will result in the entry(ies) being dropped from the program and monies received to date will be forfeited.

If Sweepstakes enrollments are on a Deferred Billing and are 60 days past due, the entry(ies) will be dropped and all monies paid in to date will be forfeited. The applicant(s) of the Deferred Billing Agreement will not be entitled to submit a Sweepstakes Entry on a Deferred Billing Agreement for a period of five (5) years.

Canadian Halter Futurity Program Update

Due to the Canadian National Show being suspended indefinitely, the AHA Futurity Commission met to discuss the Canadian National Halter Futurity Program.

It was determined that the Canadian Halter Futurity Program be suspended at this time. This program will be reviewed on an annual basis.

No additional enrollments for 2023 foals will be taken for the Canadian Halter Futurity Program.
The 2023 Canadian Halter Futurity classes will be held at the 2023 US National Championship Show and will be held as separate classes from the US National Halter Futurity Classes and adjudicated by a separate panel of judges.
Foals born in 2021 and 2022 that will show in 2024 and 2025 will be allowed to show. The location will be reviewed and determined the year prior to the 2024 and 2025 Canadian Halter Futurity Classes.
All Canadian Halter Futurity enrollments submitted to date will be refunded.
Horses not yet renominated for the Canadian Halter Futurity for the 3-year-old year in the program will be allowed until March 15, 2023, with no late fee. These renominations will need to be submitted to the AHA office in order to avoid the late fee being assessed.
