TeamBAF Raises Awareness and Funds Through the 127th Boston Marathon
|
On Monday, April 17th, after months of training and fundraising, six members of TeamBAF hit the road in Hopkinton, MA, and ran the 26.2 miles to the finish line on Boylston Street in Boston. Spreading awareness along the route in their red BAF singlets, the team was made up of Amanda, who lost her father and aunt to brain aneurysms, Natalie, a survivor, Max, a neurosurgeon, Faith, a neurosurgery resident, Evan, a survivor, and his sister, Margareta.
This amazing team raised close to $100K for brain aneurysm research and to help us continue the foundation's mission. We are thankful for the team's fundraising efforts and the awareness they spread with each donation collected.

With a deep connection to her father through basketball, Chloe initiated a "Rebounds for Research" fundraiser in February of 2023 in which she raised over $26K for the BAF in just two months.
